Harold Evensky is the president of Evensky & Katz, a broker–dealer firm. In 1999, 2000, and 2001, he was named by Accounting Today
as one the profession’s most influential people. Mr. Evensky also
received the Dow Jones Investment Advisor Portfolio Management Award
for Lifetime Achievement in 1999, was listed by Investment News as one of the "25 Power Elite" in the financial services industry in March 2001, and has been recognized by Worth as one of the “Top 100 Wealth Managers” for five consecutive years. He is the author of Wealth Management and co-editor of The Investment Think Tank, Theory, Strategy, and Practice for Advisers and Retirement Income Redesigned - Master Plans for Distribution. Mr. Evensky received his BA and master's degree from Cornell University.
