Speaker
Brad M. Barber is a professor of finance at the Graduate School of Management at University of California Davis, where he teaches courses in investment analysis and corporate financial policy. His recent research focuses on analyst recommendations and investor psychology. Professor Barber has written articles that have appeared in the Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Political Economy, Quarterly Journal of Economics, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, and the Financial Analysts Journal. He holds a BS in economics from the University of Illinois, as well as an MBA and a PhD in finance from the University of Chicago.
