Erik D. Ojala is vice president and assistant general counsel at Ariel Capital Management, LLC. He also serves as vice president and secretary for the Ariel Mutual Funds, Ariel's mutual fund family, and served as Ariel's compliance officer. Previously, Mr. Ojala was an attorney in the corporate and securities practice at Seyfarth Shaw LLP, where he had extensive involvement in the representation of mutual funds, investment advisers, and private investment funds. He holds a BA from Northwestern University and a JD from Washington University in St. Louis.

Karyn D. Vincent, CFA, is founder of Vincent Performance Services LLC, which provides GIPS® consulting and verification services. Previously, she served as the global practice leader for investment performance services at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Ms. Vincent serves on the GIPS Executive Committee (EC), chairs the Interpretations Subcommittee of the GIPS EC, and is a member of the Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (formerly CGIPS) Advisory Council. From 2002 to 2006, she chaired the AIMR-PPS® Implementation Committee and the Verification Subcommittee of the Investment Performance Council. Ms. Vincent holds a BS in accounting from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth.
