Ludwig B. Chincarini, CFA, is an adjunct professor at Georgetown University. Additionally, he serves as a financial consultant to money managers and hedge funds. Previously, Professor Chincarini served as director of research at Rydex Global Advisors, where he codeveloped the S&P 500 Equal-Weight Index in collaboration with Standard & Poor's, and as director of research at FOLIOfn, where he helped devise the firm's order processing and portfolio management systems. He is the author of the book Quantitative Equity Portfolio Management and is a frequent speaker on a wide range of financial issues, including asset allocation, interest rate forecasting, and global fixed-income management. Professor Chincarini holds a BA from the University of California at Berkeley and a PhD in economics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
