Jay Taparia, CFA, is director of education for the Investment Analysts Society of Chicago and is founder and managing director of Sanskar Investments. Additionally, he teaches finance at the University of Illinois, DePaul University, Benedictine University, and Saint Xavier University. Previously, Mr. Taparia served as senior portfolio manager within the Investment Advisory Group at Bank One Investment Management and was a corporate banker for First Chicago Capital Markets. He holds a B.A. in business administration from Southern Methodist University and an M.A. in management from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
