Stefan J. Illmer is director and head of client reporting at Credit Suisse where he is responsible for performance measurement, performance attribution, and investment reporting. Previously, he was responsible for GIPS compliance and a variety of measurement and reporting functions at Credit Suisse Asset Management. Dr. Illmer is the chairman of both the GIPS Executive Committee, where he represents Europe, and of the GIPS Regional Investment Performance Committee EMEA (formerly EIPC). He is also a member of the Swiss Banking Association’s experts group for GIPS. Dr. Illmer is a frequent conference speaker and author of several articles on performance measurement and attribution, client reporting, and the GIPS standards.

Karyn D. Vincent, CFA, CIPM, is founder of Vincent Performance Services LLC, which provides GIPS consulting and verification services. Previously, she served as the global practice leader for investment performance services at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Ms. Vincent serves on the GIPS Executive Committee (EC), chairs the Interpretations Subcommittee of the GIPS EC, and is a member of the Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM) Advisory Council. From 2002 to 2006, she chaired the AIMR-PPS Implementation Committee and the Verification Subcommittee of the Investment Performance Council. Ms. Vincent holds a BS in accounting from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth.
