Agnès Le Thiec, CFA, is a director of capital markets policy for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region of CFA Institute. She is responsible for representing the interests of CFA Institute members on capital markets issues before European Union institutions and other stakeholders. Prior to joining CFA Institute, Ms. Le Thiec worked for six years as a relationship manager and credit analyst at Calyon in New York, with clients in various industries including asset management and brokerage. She also has a background in the charity sector, and was posted by the International Committee of the Red Cross to Angola, Israel, and Darfur. Most recently she served as evaluation manager for the European Commission’s Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) Executive Agency. Ms. Le Thiec received her degrees in economics and finance from the École Supérieure de Commerce de Rouen in France.
