Stephen Yung-li Jen is managing partner of SLJ Macro Partners LLP. Previously, he was a managing director at BlueGold Capital and worked as a managing director at Morgan Stanley, holding various roles including global head of currency research and chief global foreign exchange and emerging markets strategist. During his career, Dr. Jen has also worked as an economist with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), covering economies in Eastern Europe and Asia. He holds a BSc degree in electrical engineering from the University of California at Irvine and a PhD degree in economics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
